On the weekend we bought 1/2 a pig from a local farmer. It was the best tasting and tender pork I've had in a long time much better than that bought in the supermaket or butcher. more »

The Garden has really taken off with the recent rains we have had 32mm over 5 days and we praise God for it all. Today we harvested Bok Choy,Chinese Cabbage, Lettuce and Cherry Tomatoes. Bok Choy and Chinese Cabbage went into Vegetable soup for lunch… more »

Today we harvested the second lot of artichoke leaves for fodder for the cows, when my mother-in-law comes to visit I'll post some recipes for these leaves, which I know most Australian don't eat. more »
