I have just finished reading a booklet by Joel R. Beeke called Puritan Evangelism.
It was so refreshing to be reminded on what Evangelism should be. I have had people ask me. What benefit is there in reading old stuff. My response was, do you believe that the world has infiltrated the church? The modern church I believe has drifted away from the "Old Paths"
Our family devotions and the end of this booklet Quote Jeremiah 6:16 "Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls"

Anyway, the booklet sounds interesting. I remember quite a few years ago I bought some of books that Joel Beeke used to own, at www.heritagebooks.org.
